even though it’s a bit late in the game, i figured i should probably make some valentine-ish pieces. so here’s what i came up with yesterday…
the “mushy gooey love” necklace
with a beautiful glass heart cab (made by teresa of course) and a faceted garnet
it’s really over the top, like for a teenage boy to buy for his girlfriend, or maybe for a pair of newlyweds
the “your labradorite heart” necklace,
with a fabulous labradorite
and good ol’ bill shakespeare on the back.

the “heart” ring,
with another of teresa’s cabs
(i called her up very last minute and asked her if she could do hearts like her flowers. she said she’d give it a try and i just love them!)
i also made some other non-love related pieces.
the newest “resolve” ring,
with a labradorite that i simply cannot describe.
the flash is so amazing, and it changes every way you turn the stone.
and i’ve finally created the perfect stack for myself.
i’ve been trying all different combinations,
with stones, without stones,
but this is just right.

it’s the sweetest little stone.
and, sadly, both girls have been sick. first junebug had the funk, so we postponed her birthday celebration, and now i am afraid hazel may have it. i kept her home today to rest, hoping she won’t get it. they are both home today and surprisingly, both sleeping right now. yesterday we worked on valentines. hazel’s making one for everyone in her class, quite the undertaking. i think she might love valentine’s day almost as much as she loves christmas.
