so here i am, in my new home, silversparrowdesigns.com! this is very exciting, isn’t it? i figured since we were totally revamping and overhauling our actual home, it was a good time to move things around here, in my virtual home as well. thank you so very much for following me over. now that you are here, please take a moment to click on the “subscribe” button in the upper right corner, that way you will be informed via e-mail whenever there is a new post here. also, if you are not already following me on facebook and/or twitter, now’s as good a time as any to go ahead and do that too, right? (soon i will be “rewarding” all followers here with a special treat. details to follow.) things will be changing and growing here a lot as i figure out how this new site works, so bear with me. eventually, you will even be able to buy my work directly from me here. but in the meantime, i just wanted to post an update of what’s going on around here. i have missed you all! here’s what i have been up to the past few days…

i have been working production line style which, as you know, is not usually how i operate. but there is a real zen to it once i get going and i have been enjoying it the past few days.
friday i will be doing the telluride farmer’s market again, during the infamous brews and blues festival, should be awesome. then saturday and sunday i will be at the durango autumn arts festival. i am really looking forward to that!

and the house continues to come along. this week the drywaller has been hard at work back there. this is our future bedroom. (that staircase leads up to my office!)

this is my fancy shmancy new "deep soaker" tub. it is the same size as a normal tub, but almost two feet deep. so luxurious.

also the garden is doing well. there are delicious tomatoes aplenty and we've just started harvesting some potatoes as well. lots of zuchini and squash of all kinds too. and soon (fingers crossed) carrots!

and, the tree that i view out the window of my shop is already starting to turn. so hard to believe it is already fall.
please feel free to contact me using the “contact me” form on the right; i think that’s very cool. or, of course, leave a comment as usual. i want to know what you all think about the new site! i would also like to give the hugest thanks to mr. doug lamunyon for building this site for me. he is truly amazing, check out his site. i highly recommend him if you have any web needs.
okay, i will be back soon!
(also, i’ve somehow not managed to get any new shots of the girls, but they are both doing great and loving being in school. when i picked junebug up the other day she said “i had a fabalous day”. and hazel’s been moved up to second grade for reading. smarty pants.)

Love your new web site ! Very nice ! I as usual, read it through my google reader after I followed you from your other post on your old site. I can see the whole photo too. Lovely site !
thank you so much, lisa, for joining my new site! i am so glad you are here, m’dear.
kristi~~ the new website looks great! How cool that you own your very own silversparrowdesigns.com URL! You know you’ve made it big when that happens
The only thing I will miss is hearing your playlist of music playing in the background as I enjoy reading about your latest adventures! Can’t wait to see you next month.
i can’t wait to see you either! and don’t worry, soon there will be music!
