i finally have some new pieces to share with you! unfortunately, i will not have time to list them in the shop as i had hoped, but i will do it on monday. in the meantime, here is a sneak peek:

and here are the photos from the bright eyes show in albuquerque monday night. words cannot convey how fabulous this show was. it was so awesome to see conor in a very small venue again, after seeing him in an outdoor festival setting the last three times. maybe he is always this way and i was just feeling particularly emotional that night, but his words, his music, his presence were so powerful. i found myself crying several times throughout the show. i’ve said it before, but conor oberst is the only musician/songwriter i know who can put into words/music the pain that i often feel. he is truly a phenomenon. i also need to tell you that i cannot take credit for these beautiful photos. i arrived at the show later than i like to and without my camera. but the lovely kyle, standing in front of me sent them to me. i think that they do an excellent job of capturing the emotion of the show.
conor oberst is simply incredible.
and the band is incredible- two guitars, bass, TWO drum kits, keyboards, horns, slide guitar, accordian, piano... just amazing.

Oh, mama, I Love that pendant with the blue stone with the matching earrings. Is that kyanite? Too bad my ears aren’t pierced. ha ha, i think I’ve saved a lot of money over the years by not having pierced ears. Sounds like the bright eyes show was Amazing. sooooo jealous. I think I have a crush on Conor. his voice is so dreamy…..

aren’t the pictures beautiful? i was in the market for a new camera and when i saw these i bought one, a canon powershot s90. so exciting! i will have fabulous felice pics after next week!
