with the holidays approaching, a lot of local folks have been asking me about custom family jewelry. so i decided to go ahead and make a couple of listings again. there’s a listing for the “custom rustic family necklace” and one for the “custom rustic family bracelet” in my shop now. i’m doing it a bit differently; you buy the listing for $25, then we work out the details and i list your piece when it’s finished, kind of like my tailor made jewelry reservation. here are some examples:

and, hazel has started a blog! as i mentioned, she loves taking pictures. she recently started to really enjoy typing, so i dug out my dusty old dell laptop and set it up for her in her room. it occurred to me that a blog would be a perfect way for her to embrace both of those activities, as well as start a lovely documentation of her fabulous little life. she came up with the name “hazelhood”, which i think is very clever. she takes all of the photos and does all of the typing. we have agreed to try to do one post a week. you can see her first one here: hazelhood.blog.com i think she would be really psyched if you left a comment!
